Terms of Service

1. License Grant

Subject to the terms of this Agreement and payment of the applicable license fee, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

• Install and use the Software on computers you own or control
• Use the Software in accordance with the activation limits of your purchased license

2. License Restrictions

You may NOT:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the Software
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
• Rent, lease, lend, or sublicense the Software
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the Software for any unlawful purpose
• Share your license key with others
• Circumvent any license key verification or copy protection

3. Activation and Device Limits

• Your license key may be activated on a limited number of devices as specified at the time of purchase
• You may deactivate a device to free up an activation slot
• Excessive activations may result in license suspension

4. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. We retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights. This Agreement does not grant you any rights to trademarks, service marks, or trade names.

5. Third-Party Components

The Software includes open-source components licensed under various open-source licenses. Notable components include:

• FFmpeg (LGPL 2.1+)
• libvips (LGPL 2.1+)
• Pandoc (GPL 2+)
• qpdf (Apache 2.0)
• Tesseract (Apache 2.0)
• ImageMagick (Apache 2.0)
• Real-ESRGAN (BSD 3-Clause)

Your use of these components is governed by their respective licenses.

6. Updates

• The Software may automatically check for updates
• You may choose to install or decline updates
• Some updates may be required for continued functionality
• This Agreement applies to all updates unless a separate agreement is provided

7. Support

• Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis
• We are not obligated to provide support, maintenance, or updates
• Support inquiries can be submitted through our website

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The Software will meet your requirements
• The Software will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• The results obtained from the Software will be accurate or reliable
• Any errors in the Software will be corrected

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Software
• Damages resulting from any unauthorized access to your data

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Termination

• This Agreement is effective until terminated
• Your rights under this Agreement will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any terms
• Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies
• We may terminate or suspend your license if we reasonably believe you have violated this Agreement

11. Changes to This Agreement

We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Continued use of the Software after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the modified Agreement.
